Answers for the most common questions about Spree Wales

General

  • 8 to 15 - at the start of Spree. If they turn 16 during Spree they can still come as a camper.

  • Yes, we are able to accommodate day visitors. Contact us for more information on this.

  • Groups can arrive from 5pm on the Friday to set up, settle in etc. Some activities are open from 6pm but the event really kicks off with our first meeting together at about 8pm on the Friday and we close things out on the Sunday by 2pm.

  • Unfortunately not. We can’t permit pets onsite. Please contact us if you have a registered guide dog as we may be able to make arrangements for this.

 
 

Camping

  • There are a couple of options around food. You can bring food and cooking equipment with you and cater for your group yourself. Alternatively, for an additional cost, we can cater for your group for the weekend.

    There will also be a burger van and tuck shop on site.

  • Group leaders bring their own tents for leaders and group members. You are also welcome to bring gazebos/small marquees for feeding your group. You will be allotted a specific area of the site and, if required, you can send volunteers down on Friday morning to set up your area.

  • Yes. You must book this in advance, for an additional charge.

  • Spree Wales has plenty of access to toilet and shower facilities, water supply and sinks for washing up etc.

  • There is no WiFi available onsite. However, there is reasonable cellular signal coverage.

  • We create a small car park onsite for Spree Wales. We must advise that while we do our best to keep the site secure throughout the weekend, vehicles parked onsite over the weekend are left at the owner’s risk. The car park is within the boundaries of the site.

    You will not be able to park cars in your camping site.

 
 

Accessibility

  • We provide a disabled accessible toilet on site which will be open 24/7 over the weekend.

    We also have an additional needs venue staffed by an experienced team.

Volunteering

  • Young people aged 16+ can join the Service Crew, helping with activities and commitments throughout the weekend.

  • Yes! As well as Service Crew, Adult Volunteers are needed at Spree to help with setup and takedown, activities, catering, and site security.
